His Eye is on the Sparrow

I remember being afraid of my children's father one night. I had to leave my apartment and go spend the night with him. I had gotten into a mess with my life because of drinking too much. I had fallen asleep on the couch with a hang over, and I heard (not with my ears) but with my spirit for me to get up and call the police. The children's father wasn't even there in the house, but I got up and went to the phone and dialed 911. I told them that my life was in danger and I and the children had no where to go, but I needed to get out of this house with my kids quick. The operator dialed up the police and they took my children and me to a shelter, where I stayed until I got into a rehab. It wasn't until a year or so later that my children's father asked me if I remembered that night, and I said that I did. He said, "You left because you didn't know what I was goint to do to you". Actually before that I hadn't thought much about it. Ever since I knew that GOD had guided my spirit even though I was a wretch undone, to safety. I am now saved and I am a devoted believer of Christ Jesus. His eye is on the sparrow even when we are sleeping. We serve a GOD that does not sleep nor slumber truely.
