Someone In Need

My friends and I were going to a Benny Hinn crusade in South Carolina, and on the way down we got hungry and we pulled into this little town on the outskirts of where we were going to be a part of the Benny Hinn crusade.

We went through the town looking for a place to eat, and we stopped at this red light, and on the corner stood a lady, dirty and her hair wasn't combed. Well this lady held a sign saying I will do work for a meal, and for some reason I could not take my eyes off her. The light changed and we went and I asked my two friends in the front if we could turn around cause my heart felt so heavy, I felt, I said, that I was to give to this person, and I didn't want to miss my chance to help somebody in need. We talked about it and we went back up the street, to see if she was still there, and she was gone. My friends wife said we need to be careful of people who just stand on corners to collect money. But yet why did my heart feel so heavy. I asked God to give me another chance to do the right thing, to be able to help someone, and not hesitate this time.

Well we finally found a nice place to eat, I got my food and sat down by the window, now we were about 1/2 block away from the major expressway, and I could see the main ramp coming up from the interstate below. I turned away for a second and I looked back at the top of the ramp, and here stood a man about 6ft or better, holding a sign, saying I will do odd jobs and work for food.

Well I did not need a brick building to fall on my head, well the food I had gotten was from the all you can eat bar, and my friend said I doubt if they will let you take that out. So I wrapped some food up in a napkin and paid my bill and walked out, we got in the car and went right across the road to gas up, I asked my two friends if they had extra change they could spare along with my money and food.So we put the money and the food together and I walked up to this tall man and as I approched this man, I felt so strange, I looked up at him and said to him, God bless you brother and I want you to take this offering we have for you. No words came from him he reached out and took my hand, and just stared at me, I walked back to the car and I was in tears, cause see the man I just shook hands with had no bone structure I felt no bone in his hand when he shook my hand. My good friend larry had just gotten done filling the car with gas. I could not stop crying for what had taken place(my second chance)

Larry could not believe what just took place, we both turned to look at the man one last time, and he was gone, we walked up to where he had been standing and looked up and down the road to see if he might of had a car to leave that fast, he was no where to be found.

So you see God does give second chances.
